TrophaeI just finished a new piece of work called Trophäe (Trophy). It basically is a plaster copy of my head attached to a wooden plate. The work refers to hunting trophies that are very popular in the hunting scene. The work belongs to a group of art works. Another work out of the series is called L’eau d’artiste.
In an ironical way the series discusses the heroic being of an artist.
