The Souvenir Camera are small plastic toys. They have the form of a photo camera. In the inside of the camera a slide is attached. On the slide are eight pictures. The body of the camera works as a slide-projector.
Last month I made two different models of this Souvenir Camera. I made a black and a white model with three different themes, one with photographs out of the Heimat series, one with photos of former concentration camps in Germany and one with photos that I took on a journey along the former boarder that divided East-Germany from West-Germany.
