Strand and Snowball
For the video installation Strand and Snowball I used two videos of abstract snow landscapes and combined these images into an installation. The two videos are each projected on a large piece of paper that is attached to the wall. The projections are 165cm wide and 125cm high. For this work I filmed rather abstract snow landscapes that seem almost unrealistic. On first sight the viewer feels as if they are looking at a drawing or a painting.
In the work Strand and Snowball I wanted to combine a moving image with still images.
